VIDEO: "They gave a 10-person family 13 sq. m, saying the others should sleep in the hallway" - Resident of former Ministry of Defense building

Residents of the former Ministry of Defense building are holding a protest in front of the Government building. They demand a meeting with officials to seek solutions to their issues and to be allowed to return and live in the former Ministry of Defense building.

One of the protest participants noted that the police distributed the keys to the houses in an unclear manner. They mentioned that there is no space for sleeping in the houses, and other family members have been suggested to sleep outside or in the hallway. "The police gave a 10-person family 13 sq. m, saying the others should sleep in the hallway," said the resident.

It is worth reminding that, by a government decision, the former Ministry of Defense building has been assigned to the State Revenue Committee, which has caused residents of that building to find themselves homeless.
