Trump Does Not Rule Out Transfer of 'Russian-Speaking' Regions of Ukraine to Russia on Fox News

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has not ruled out the possibility of transferring part of Ukraine's territory to Russia in order to halt military conflicts. The former American leader made this statement during an interview with Fox News, according to Daily Beast.

According to the publication, a portion of this conversation with Trump was later cut from the broadcast.

In the interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on March 6, the former president stated that to stop military actions, Russia could be allowed to 'take possession' of part of Ukraine. 'I could have agreed. At worst, I could have negotiated that I would give (to Russia), (there are certain areas in Ukraine that, to be honest, are Russian-speaking),' Trump said in the unpublished part of the interview, as reported by Daily Beast.

Additionally, according to the publication, Trump mentioned that 'a lot more people are dying during military conflict than is reported.'

As Daily Beast notes, when Hannity released excerpts from his interview with Trump, parts discussing the potential transfer of Ukrainian territories to Russia, as well as the number of casualties in military operations, were already missing. The publication stated that approximately 30 seconds of Trump's speech had been cut from the interview.

In the segment that is available to the public, Trump states that if he had remained president of the United States, there would 'never have been' a military conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
