All Individuals Detained During Protests in Tbilisi Have Been Released: Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs

On March 7 and 8, during protests held near the Parliament building by various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, all individuals detained under the Administrative Offenses Code have been released, according to a statement from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

According to the agency, some of those arrested have appeared before the court, while the others were released after the expiration of their time in investigative detention.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to investigate the violent incidents that occurred on March 7-8 under Articles 353 and 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. Investigative activities are being carried out to discover, identify, and arrest those involved in attacking police officers and other violent actions during the protest in the territory of the Parliament building," the statement reads.
