When Will the US Supply Abrams Tanks to Ukraine?

Douglas Bush, the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Procurement, Logistics, and Technology, has announced that the United States is making efforts to provide American M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine; however, there is no specific timeline for their transfer to Kyiv, TASS reports.

According to him, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin is "not yet ready to disclose the exact timelines for the delivery of these combat vehicles." He added, "We cannot specify or announce exact deadlines again, as we do not want to confirm to the Russians when any of the promised weapons will reach Ukraine. However, efforts are being made to implement this as quickly as possible," Bush stated.

Earlier, Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh had stated that despite the decision to provide 31 M1 Abrams tanks to Kyiv, Lloyd Austin believes that it will still be difficult for the Ukrainian side to maintain combat readiness.
