225 Dead, Over 290 Injured: Defense Ministry Reports
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "A report on the implementation process and results for the year 2022 has been submitted to the parliament by the government (2021-2026). The report contains particularly notable data regarding the defense sector. Thus, according to the report, as a result of the aggression on September 13, the Armenian side has recorded 225 fatalities, including 3 civilians, and 293 military personnel and 7 civilians were injured. Additionally, 20 military personnel have been captured. Meanwhile, just a month ago, the Armenian Investigative Committee's main military investigative department summarized the investigations conducted due to the aggression, stating that '224 individuals from the Armenian side lost their lives, and the whereabouts of 3 military personnel are unknown.' According to the report submitted by the Defense Ministry, as a result of aggressions carried out against Armenia during 2021 and 2022, Azerbaijan has occupied more than 150 square kilometers of the Republic of Armenia's sovereign territory."
