VIDEO: "I'm surprised that the relatives of the fallen soldiers are outraged," says Deputy Minister of Defense

“Immediately after the gunfire, our information service releases information. The Ministry of Defense has a news service,” said Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan today, March 7, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, responding to questions regarding the border situation and the gunfire heard in the Sotk direction.

“I do not wish to answer additional questions,” he stated. Referring to the meeting with the parents of the fallen soldiers, their grievances, and their assertion that “Our children’s heads are being eaten, and then they talk about guarantees... it's nonsense,” the Deputy Minister remarked, “I’m surprised that the relatives of the fallen soldiers are outraged.”

The Deputy Minister assured that Armenia’s defense system is strengthening. “The defense system is being reinforced, everything is being done to ensure that we have a more protected state and a combat-ready army,” he said.

When asked what is being done to protect Artsakh, the Deputy Minister responded, “Everything necessary is being done,” and then left.
