European Intellectuals Issue Open Letter Calling for Assistance to Armenia and Artsakh
European intellectuals have called on their governments to provide immediate and concrete assistance to the thousands of innocent citizens living in Armenia and Artsakh, considering the looming danger. According to a report from Baghramyan 26, the open letter states:
“We, the humanists who have signed this petition, who cherish moral values and universal principles such as freedom, justice, and tolerance, appeal to the governments of our enlightened democratic countries to effectively and without delay provide concrete assistance to the thousands of innocent citizens living in Armenia and Artsakh, in light of the imminent danger. In the face of tragedy, here and now, we urge the awakening of our conscience; this is a moral imperative in the form of humanitarian assistance, a noble and just act that extends not only to the survival of the Armenian people in Artsakh but also to our own civilization.”
