Ukraine Concentrates 17,000 Military Personnel Near Belarusian Border

Currently, 17,000 Ukrainian soldiers are concentrated near the Belarusian border, according to interfax.ru. "Based on the State Border Committee, Ukraine has deployed a group of 17,000 military personnel in the territory near the Belarusian border," the report states.

It has been reported that in Ukraine's Rivne region, efforts to strengthen the border continue, where new fortifications and engineering structures are being constructed, and a second line of anti-tank trenches is being created. Special concrete structures known as tetradri are being used for this purpose.

Belarus' Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov announced that the special unit combating saboteur-reconnaissance groups, known as “Ris,” is actively operating throughout the country. "A special unit called 'Lynx' has been established within the internal troops, with its primary task being the fight against saboteur-reconnaissance groups. Today, this unit is actively working across all regions of Belarus. The members are specially trained personnel who are soldiers of the internal troops. Only contract service members serve in this unit, and they are already prepared to operate in any area of our country," Kubrakov stated yesterday during a broadcast on the ONT state television channel.
