The Situation Around Artsakh is Quite Tense: Abrahamyan Presents an Unaddressed Important Aspect

To understand what threats arose from the Azerbaijani attack on March 5, I want to draw public attention to another important aspect that has not been discussed. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the 'I Have Honor' faction in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, on his Facebook page.

"The location of the attack on the Artsakh police is Haypalou, which is about 1.5 km in a direct line from the city of Shushi. From the Haypalou area to the outskirts of Stepanakert, specifically the Armenianavan neighborhood, is only about 3 km in a straight line. The epicenter of the fighting is approximately 5.5 km from the center of Stepanakert, near the conditional urban sports field. I write this for our compatriots who do not objectively grasp the specifics of the area; this is an important factor in understanding that the actual dangerous zone is right under the 'nose' of the capital Stepanakert, and any problem can directly open a path towards Stepanakert.

The situation around Artsakh is indeed quite tense, and my impression is that Azerbaijan, being generally dissatisfied with the results of its attack, is discussing what to do, when to act, and at what moment. I am not saying this for intimidation, but rather as a concrete readiness to prevent any potential movements and actions of the enemy using the existing technical capabilities, rather than relying solely on surveillance systems, thus enabling timely prevention, which is possible."
