North Korea Develops Rocket Engine Capable of Launching Satellites into Space
North Korean engineers have succeeded in creating a powerful rocket engine that will allow the country to launch various satellites. This was announced on Monday by Park Kyong Sun, the Deputy Director of the State Administration of Space.
“The DPRK has fully succeeded in developing a powerful rocket engine designed for launching satellites into space, thereby ensuring that various satellites can be launched into appropriate orbits,” the expert stated.
According to him, the Republic has achieved multi-functionality and high efficiency with its satellites.
“A lot of work is being done to bring space science and technologies into various fields, including agriculture, fishing, meteorology, communication, exploration of natural resources, land use, and disaster prevention,” Park Kyong Sun added. “All these successes indicate a bright future for the DPRK's space program,” the official concluded.
