Artak Beglaryan's Harsh Response to Teuvo Klaar's Statement

Teuvo Klaar, the European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus, has commented on the diversion organized by Azerbaijani armed forces in Artsakh, resulting in the death of three police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh. In response, former Prime Minister of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, has issued a sharp critique of Klaar, indicating that trust in him is diminishing due to his reaction to the Azerbaijani crime.

According to Armenpress, Teuvo Klaar stated in a post on his Twitter microblog that the bloody incident highlights the urgent need to advance negotiations to achieve stability and just peace. He also mentioned that he is in Baku and eagerly awaiting substantial meetings with Azerbaijani leadership to promote the peace process following the Munich discussions.

In his reply to Klaar's statement, Artak Beglaryan wrote on his Twitter page: “My distrust towards Teuvo Klaar is deepening due to his reaction to the Azerbaijani crime. He is either an amateur diplomat, is under Azerbaijani brainwashing, or is a corrupt official, or he has a distorted perception of European values, interests, and human rights. In all four scenarios, changes are necessary.”

It is worth recalling that on the morning of March 5, around 10:00 AM, a diversion group of the Azerbaijani armed forces targeted and opened fire on the vehicle of the personnel shift of the Passport and Visa Department of the police in the area known as Haypalou. As a result of the diversionary infiltration, three police officers lost their lives.
