Armenian Forces' Response Actions Made the Enemy Realize That Artsakh Residents Are Not Asleep: Senor Hasratyan

Senor Hasratyan, the former spokesperson for the Artsakh Defense Army, wrote on his Facebook page:

“Yesterday, the operation carried out by the enemy in the conflict zone was characterized by some as a provocation, by others as a diversion, and by some as terrorism. One can agree or disagree with all these interpretations. However, I have my own perspective. It was an action that, in its essence, was nearly indistinguishable from the grotesque act of a butcher stabbing a sleeping Armenian officer in Budapest, which fully fits into the Turkish logic… The Turk prefers to sweet-talk the opponent with promises, dull their vigilance, attempt to lull them to sleep, and then kill… A few days ago, in entering negotiations with them, we attempted to believe in the possibility of sincere and constructive interactions. But, as always, this action demonstrated that the Turk has not changed, and he must be treated as previous generations did… And the ‘previous generations’ acted like this: if the enemy made a violation in any section of the contact line (regardless of whether it was a sniper shot or an attempt at a diversionary infiltration), a disproportionate and brutal response was immediately given… After that, silence prevailed because that is the only language he understands…
P.S. Despite our heavy losses yesterday, the response actions taken by the Armenian forces made the enemy realize that the people of Artsakh are not asleep…”
