Aliyev is Satisfied with Meeting with Pashinyan in Munich
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received the U.S. State Department's Senior Advisor for South Caucasus, Louis Bono. It was previously reported that Bono arrived in Azerbaijan, and a series of meetings with officials were expected, along with discussions on the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This information was reported by the APA news agency, citing the Azerbaijani president's press service.
“During the conversation, Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the results of the meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia that took place on February 18 in Munich. The Azerbaijani president also expressed gratitude for the ongoing efforts by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in this direction,” the statement read. Bono will also visit Georgia and Armenia.
