For the Sake of Peace, I Am Ready to Bear This Responsibility: Pashinyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan assures that he is fully committed to signing a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, but it should not resemble a capitulation document for Armenia. He made this statement during a discussion at the German Council on Foreign Relations.

According to Pashinyan, he recently expressed similar views in the Armenian parliament and government. “It must be a document for genuine and lasting peace in our region, and I am ready to bear this responsibility for the sake of peace, stability, and regional and international cooperation. This is my final conclusion from today’s discussion,” the Prime Minister stated.
