Families of the Missing and Captured in War to Receive State Support

Families of civilian individuals who went missing or were captured as a result of the 44-day war in 2020 will receive financial support from the Government of Armenia for the months of January and February 2023, amounting to 300,000 drams per person per month.

To this end, an additional 6.6 million drams has been allocated from the state budget to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs during today’s government meeting.

According to the ministry's data, social support will be provided to the families of 11 missing individuals (as well as those captured) under this program. The deadline for the previous program had expired in December 2022, and no financial allocation was planned for January and February 2023.
