Armenian Foreign Ministry's Response to Bayramov's Accusations of 'Unconstructiveness'
The Armenian Foreign Ministry has commented on the statements of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov regarding Armenia's 'unconstructiveness' in the peace treaty negotiations, in response to an inquiry from Sputnik Armenia.
'The Armenian side, as already stated, is not halting negotiations on the peace treaty, evidence of which is the transmission of proposals from the Armenian side to the Azerbaijani side regarding the document in December of last year,' the Armenian Foreign Ministry's comment reads.
It is also noted that in January, Baku sent new proposals in response, to which the Armenian side also replied. On February 28, during a press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Bayramov stated that Armenia is unjustifiably avoiding constructive negotiations with Baku, seriously undermining both the negotiations and the peace process.
