Video: "Ask the Brother and the Brother's Son". Ghulyan on His Family's Assets

In a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly, the Chair of the Urban Development Committee, Armen Ghulyan, responded to a question about whether new constructions would withstand earthquakes stronger than 7 on the Richter scale. He noted, “We do not discuss our norms as this is a matter of the past. We are building structures that comply with much stricter and higher standards today.”

When asked whether the residence being built for Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan meets all urban construction norms, Ghulyan remarked, “I ask you to direct your questions on this topic and to eliminate your sarcastic tone.”

Regarding inquiries about the source of assets belonging to his brother and nephews, Ghulyan stated, “Please ask my brother and my brother's sons.” In response to a journalist's question about whether he has had concerns regarding the legitimacy of their property, he said, “They are the most modest and measured people. What you are referring to has been earned through legal and appropriate means.”
