Mother-in-law Kills Son-in-law in Armavir: Details

In the village of Jrarat, Armavir region, a 46-year-old mother-in-law has killed her 31-year-old son-in-law. The information was reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to the website, the incident occurred yesterday, on February 28. Around 16:50, the police department in Vagharshapat received information about gunshots in Tumanyan street in the village, with reports of injuries.

Police discovered a vehicle, an Opel, near house number 20 on the specified street, where they found the body of a man with gunshot wounds on the ground on the right side.

Law enforcement identified the victim as 31-year-old Karen M., a resident of the same village, while the alleged perpetrator is 46-year-old Armen Khanoian, a resident of the Kotayk region.

According to villagers, the mother-in-law, who lives in Zovuni, arrived in the village by taxi, shot her son-in-law with a hunting rifle, and killed him.

Crime scene investigators found blood-like traces, a bloodstained shovel, and the murder weapon in the reeds nearby. Khanoian has been arrested.
