Yesterday evening, a protest took place in Istanbul. According to Turkish television channel TELE 1, citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the aid provided to the victims of the earthquake, particularly regarding the actions of the Turkish Red Crescent.
The organization has come under severe criticism for selling tents that were transported and set up in the earthquake-affected regions.
Among the organizers of the rally were representatives of Turkey's Labor Party. Police forces were deployed to the location of the protest. According to the party, law enforcement detained more than 100 individuals.
