Video: Husband Offered Their 19-Year-Old Wife to a Friend for Sexual Intercourse

The community police of Ashotsk received reports that a resident of Shirak province, at the urging of her husband, had engaged in sexual intercourse for money.

In order to verify the authenticity of the information, the Ashotsk police took measures. Preliminary data indicated that the 19-year-old woman, along with her 34-year-old husband from Gyumri, visited a friend residing in Armavir province last October and spent the night at his house. The husband offered their host money in exchange for sexual intercourse with his wife, stating that they needed the money to return to Gyumri.

The resident of Armavir province had sexual relations with the 19-year-old woman. After the incident, the woman separated from her husband.

Documents related to the case have been sent to the investigative division of Vagharshapat. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the coercion of sexual acts. The Ashotsk police, in collaboration with their colleagues from the Akhuryan division, located the 34-year-old man and presented him to the pre-trial authority. He has been arrested and taken to a correctional facility. The circumstances are being clarified during the investigation.
