Earthquake Recorded in Aleppo with Magnitude of 5.2
On Monday, a magnitude 5.2 earthquake was recorded in the Aleppo province. This was reported by the SANA news agency, citing the seismic center.
According to the agency, the underground tremors occurred at 13:04 local time, approximately 239 km northeast of the city of Aleppo (the administrative center of the province).
It is worth recalling that on February 6, at 05:17, an earthquake occurred in Turkey's Kahramanmaraş province, which led to devastation in several cities. Two more strong earthquakes were recorded at 14:24 and 14:36 Yerevan time.
The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral area was recorded at 10-11 on the Richter scale. More than 4,000 aftershocks have been registered, with over 44,000 people reported dead due to the earthquake.
