Clothing Imported to Armenia Under the Guise of Fruits and Vegetables
The State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia reports that new cases of customs violations have been revealed in the performance of its assigned powers.
In particular, after the discovery of a case of clothing imported under the guise of tangerines, concealed from customs control by the National Security Service on December 17, follow-up investigations and inquiries by the SRC have revealed that the same entities imported clothing under the names of various fruits and vegetables during the period of June to December 2022, with a total of 21 different cases, totaling 210 tons in weight.
The relevant documents will be forwarded to the authority conducting the proceedings to ensure further progress within the scope of the criminal case.
