Rescue Workers Who Completed Mission in Disaster Zone Awarded

The Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan has issued a decree to award several rescue workers with medals and souvenirs for their diligent and highly responsible performance during efforts to mitigate and eliminate potential impacts of emergencies in earthquake-affected countries and for their intensive cooperation with international organizations.

On February 24, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Director of the Rescue Service Kamo Tsutsulyan formally presented the awards to the rescuers.

The director expressed gratitude on behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs and personally, recognizing the rescuers for their high level of professional readiness and human qualities, emphasizing that every good deed deserves recognition.

“I want to emphasize that you have accomplished the tasks set before you at a high professional level. Both Armenian urban search and rescue teams performed their humanitarian mission excellently, demonstrating strength, will, diligence, and the bright example of a fearless rescuer,” said Tsutsulyan.
