Putin Will Not Address Russians on February 24, Peskov Says
No address from Russian President Vladimir Putin to the public is scheduled for February 24, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, informed RIA Novosti.
Last year, on February 24, the head of state addressed Russians and announced the start of a special operation aimed at protecting the residents of Donbas.
When asked whether a presidential speech is planned for this year, Peskov responded negatively. “No,” he said.
It is worth noting that today marks one year since the onset of hostilities between Russia and Ukraine.
