Pashinyan and Toivo Klaar Discuss the Regulation Process of Armenian-Azerbaijani Relations

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia. This was reported by the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister highly valued the cooperation between Armenia and the European Union and noted with satisfaction the fact of institutional reforms being carried out in our country with the assistance of the EU. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the EU civilian mission's activities in Armenia, which will contribute to stability and peace in the region.

The interlocutors discussed the humanitarian, environmental, and energy crises created in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor. Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed the importance of the resolution adopted by the European Parliament regarding the unblocking of the Lachin corridor.

The participants exchanged views on the process of regulating relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
