Pashinyan Has a Plan to Hand Over Artsakh to Azerbaijan by the Hands of Its Own People: We Are in the Final Stage, Says Metakse Hakobyan

The President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, fulfilled Azerbaijan's demand by dismissing Ruben Vardanyan from the position of State Minister. This was stated by Metakse Hakobyan, the secretary of the "Justice" faction of the Artsakh National Assembly, in an interview with NEWS.am.

"In essence, Azerbaijan is deciding what political processes will take place in Artsakh, or who can aspire to official positions. Araik Harutyunyan demonstrated that during this administration, Azerbaijan will now carry out dismissals and appointments. Throughout this process, when Artsakh is united, and Ruben Vardanyan has also joined that unity, the President again showed his defeatist stance and stepped back from our fight. He betrayed that unity. It turns out that the president, who speaks of unity, is actually the one who divides," said Metakse Hakobyan.

Commenting on the president's proposal to appoint Prosecutor General Gurgen Nersisyan to that position, Hakobyan stated, "The individuals who may be appointed are not really significant, as this is already becoming a norm for Araik Harutyunyan. It is no longer essential who will be the State Minister. There is a fact that state governance in Artsakh has collapsed."

According to Hakobyan, Araik Harutyunyan's decisions are coordinated with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. "Nikol Pashinyan has a plan to hand over Artsakh to Azerbaijan by the hands of its own people: we are in the final stage. Now there is a trio of 'Nikol-Aliyev-Harutyunyan' who have the same agenda," she added.
