Our Allies Must Ensure That Aliyev Complies with the Order: Frank Pallone
The International Court of Justice's ruling confirms that Azerbaijan's blockade of the Lachin corridor violates international law and must cease immediately. This was stated by U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone.
He emphasized, “The State Department and our allies must ensure that Aliyev complies with the order and allows the free movement of people and goods to Artsakh.”
It is worth noting that Armenia has requested the International Court of Justice to implement the following provisional measures: Azerbaijan must stop the organization and support of so-called 'protests' that obstruct unhindered free movement in both directions of the Lachin corridor, ensure the uninterrupted free movement of all people, vehicles, and cargo, and immediately fully restore and refrain from obstructing the supply of natural gas and other utility services to Nagorno-Karabakh. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan is demanding the application of interim measures to obligate Armenia to 'end the landmine planting and the transfer of mines through the Lachin corridor.'
