Earthquakes in Turkey Cause Geological Shift of 7.3 Meters
In Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, earthquakes have caused the Anatolian plate to shift by 7.3 meters. This information has been reported by the Turkish Anadolu Agency.
It is worth noting that Google Earth and the American Maxar satellite company have documented the geological movement resulting from the earthquakes that occurred in southern Turkey. German seismologist Andreas Schäfer indicated that the horizontal displacement was in the range of 3-4 meters.
