Video: Snow Removal Vehicle Reverses and Levels Baron Stiglitz's Monument
In St. Petersburg, the monument dedicated to Russia's major financier, banker, and industrialist Baron Stiglitz has been demolished. Russian media reports this incident occurred accidentally.
Footage circulating shows the snow removal vehicle striking the monument. It has been taken from the railway station square for renovation purposes.
The monument did not sustain serious damage.
