VIDEO: Putin Threatens the West

As long as more long-range ammunition is provided to Ukraine, Russia will escalate the threat beyond its borders, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin during his address to the Federal Assembly.

The West does not hide its goal of bringing about Russia's strategic defeat, Putin noted.

“The elites of the West do not disguise their intentions towards Russia, as they put it, this is straightforward talk about their aim to deliver a strategic defeat. This means putting an end to us forever. In other words, they intend to escalate the local conflict into a phase of global confrontation,” said Putin.

According to the Russian leader, the West continues to aim its aggression eastward, attempting to ignite war in Europe through proxies. Moreover, the flow of money and weapons into Ukraine shows no signs of decreasing.

“It's clear, right? 150 billion dollars for war, while the so-called care for the poorest countries amounts to just 60. Additionally, these funds come with well-known demands for compliance from the recipient countries. And where did all the discussions about fighting poverty go? The talks about sustainable development, about ecology? Where has all that vanished? Meanwhile, the flow of money for war remains unabated,” highlighted the country's leader.

He also pointed out that the West does not spare expenses in promoting unrest and coups in other countries.
