The Road Segment from the Jermuk Intersection to the Sisian Intersection is Closed for Trailer Vehicles

The Road Department Foundation informs that as of February 21 at 17:00, snow is falling in the regions of Gavar, Martuni, Jermuk, Sisian, and Meghri, as well as on the Shinuahy-Tatev highway and the Saravani pass.

The road segment from the Jermuk intersection to the Sisian intersection is closed for trailer vehicles. The Gndevaz-Jermuk highway is also closed for trailer vehicles and passable with difficulty for other types of vehicles.

The Spitak bends and the Vardenyats pass are difficult for trailer vehicles. There are blizzard conditions on the Funtan-Jraber highways and in the areas of Gavar and Sisian (the section called Zanger).

Other interstate and republican highways remain open. Road construction workers are actively carrying out cleaning and treatment with salt and gravel on the highways.
