Armenian rescuers, during a week-long search and rescue operation in the Turkish city of Adiyaman and the Syrian city of Aleppo, have successfully extracted three injured individuals from the rubble in the disaster zone. This was reported by Garik Aghramanyan, the head of the operational shift of the National Center for Crisis Management, who summarized the work carried out in the disaster area.
“As a result of extensive search operations, including those conducted by canine teams, 20 bodies of victims have been recovered from the rubble in both countries,” he noted.
According to the lieutenant colonel, alongside the search and rescue operations in Aleppo, the Armenian rescuers organized and conducted a training class for the local Armenian community on the topic of “How to Act in Case of an Earthquake.”
