VIDEO: Remove This Flag! Libyans Protest Turkish Flag on Revolution Day

In Libya, protesters demanded the removal of the Turkish flag, as it was displayed during the celebrations for the 12th anniversary of the February 17 revolution.

"No, no, no, remove this flag, Libya, Libya," chanted the demonstrators.

It is noteworthy that Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of National Accord in Libya in 2019, extending its maritime boundaries. Additionally, at the end of January 2020, Turkish armed forces landed in Libya to support the temporary forces against General Khalifa Haftar's troops.

It is also known that Turkey has sent mercenaries from terrorist groups controlled in Syria to Libya.
