Video: People Trapped Under Rubble After New Earthquakes in Turkey, Tsunami Warning Issued

Following new earthquakes recorded today in Turkey's Hatay province, there are people trapped under the rubble of collapsed buildings, and rescue teams have been dispatched to assist them. This information has been reported by Turkish media, citing the mayor of Hatay.

Earlier today, two earthquakes were reported in Turkey, causing further destruction. Initially, a magnitude 6.4 earthquake was reported, but it was later revealed that there was a second earthquake measuring 5.8, as informed by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD). The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Samandag district.

In addition, concerns about tsunami risks following the new earthquake have been raised. Specifically, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre has indicated that a tsunami could strike Turkey's Hatay province.

Footage released shows people at Hatay airport during today’s earthquakes. Turkish authorities are advising against travel to the province.
