Biden Leaves Kyiv, Concluding Historic Visit

CNN reports that U.S. President Joe Biden has left the Ukrainian capital, concluding a historic visit.

The U.S. president arrived in Kyiv around 8 a.m. and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky before touring the center of Kyiv and promising continued U.S. support for Ukraine.

During a press conference, Biden stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin's goal in the war is the complete destruction of the Ukrainian state. “We know that difficult days, weeks, and years lie ahead. Putin's aim is to erase Ukraine from the map,” Biden noted.
