VIDEO: Donetsk Under Shelling, Prosecutor's Office Building Catches Fire
During the shelling of Donetsk, debris from a "Grad" missile landed in the city center, affecting numerous buildings in the area of the Closed Market, one of which caught fire. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
The debris, in particular, fell near the Krupskaya Library, the DPR Prosecutor's Office building, and residential homes. Several fragments hit a vehicle passing by on the street, injuring the driver, who received first aid.
It has been reported that the building of the DPR Prosecutor’s Office has caught fire. A fire also broke out in one of the buildings of the "Closed Market" bus station, and currently, firefighters and ambulances are heading to the city center.
Earlier today, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination in the DPR announced that Ukrainian forces launched nearly 40 missiles towards the Kyiv and Voroshilov districts of Donetsk within two minutes.
It is worth recalling that in the early morning of February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a decision to carry out a special military operation against Ukraine, following a request for assistance from the LPR and DPR.
The military operations in Ukraine have continued to this day.
