Ruben Vardanyan's Presence and Activities in Artsakh Are Our Internal Affairs: Avanesyan

The presence of Ruben Vardanyan in the Republic of Artsakh and his activities are internal affairs of Artsakh and cannot be a topic for discussion by the authorities of Azerbaijan. This was stated by Lusine Avanesyan, the spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Artsakh, in a comment to Artsakhpress, responding to the statements made by the President of Azerbaijan regarding the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan.

“The Azerbaijani president, who is reasonably suspected of committing or managing numerous wartime, corrupt, and other crimes, is currently directly leading the terrorist operation to blockade 120,000 Armenians. By speaking again in Munich about the removal of Ruben Vardanyan from Artsakh, he is attempting to legitimize the crime of isolating Artsakh from Armenia and the entire world,” emphasized Lusine Avanesyan.

It is noteworthy that the day before, during a panel discussion in Munich, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that Baku would start negotiations with representatives from Nagorno-Karabakh after Vardanyan leaves there.
