VIDEO: Israeli Delegation Removed from African Union Summit

The Israeli delegation has been removed from the African Union summit held in Ethiopia, according to Israeli media reports.

"Israel is taking the incident seriously," stated a spokesperson for the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Since 2021, Israel has held observer status in the African Union; however, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Mauritania have formally opposed Tel Aviv's status.
