VIDEO: 296 Hours After the Earthquake, Three More People Rescued from the Rubble in Turkey
296 hours after the devastating earthquake, a 12-year-old child was rescued alongside two adults from the ruins of a collapsed building. According to Ahaber, rescuers brought three individuals out from the debris of a residential building in Hatay.
Initially, rescuers were able to hear the voices of people asking for water. After extensive excavation efforts, on the 296th hour following the earthquake, Samir Mohammed Akka, his wife Ragda, and their 12-year-old child were extricated. The injured were immediately transferred to medical professionals. However, it was later confirmed that the teenager had succumbed to their injuries.
Reports indicate that the family had lost two other children when the building collapsed. It should be noted that the death toll from the devastating earthquake in Turkey has reached nearly 40,000.
