Video: Helicopter Disappears from Radar, Then Makes Emergency Landing in Russia
A Robinson helicopter that disappeared from radar in Sakhalin has been located, according to TASS, citing the press service of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry.
According to the agency, it made a landing northeast of Krasnaya Mountain. A ground team composed of 18 rescuers has been dispatched to the scene via snowmobiles.
Earlier, emergency services reported that the Robinson helicopter had vanished from radar northeast of Krasnaya Mountain in the Sakhalin region. There were three people on board, all of whom are safe, but one person has sustained injuries.
As reported by the Amur Mash Telegram channel, the helicopter was supposed to land at the Olenya Gorka site in the Nevelsky district but sent out a distress signal and then disappeared.
