Russia Begins Testing of TrAMP UAVs
Russia has commenced ground testing of the TrAMP (ТрАМП) transport unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The first flight is scheduled for April, a source from the defense industry complex told RIA Novosti.
As previously reported by the agency, the advanced UAV is capable of carrying a payload of up to 250 kilograms over a distance of more than 600 kilometers.
"The developers of the TrAMP have begun testing the UAV on the ground, checking and tuning its control systems and mechanisms," said the source.
