Russia Attempts to Impose its Will on Sovereign Countries: Ned Price on Russia's Policies Towards Armenia and Volodin's Statements
We see that Russia is trying to impose its will on sovereign countries. In the case of Ukraine, this is done through troops and violence. In other cases, a less aggressive tactic is used. However, international law protects the concepts of sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. It is precisely these principles that Russia violates in the case of Ukraine, as well as in other countries, stated Ned Price, spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, when addressing the issue of Russia's policies towards Armenia and Volodin's statements.
Earlier, Vyacheslav Volodin, Speaker of the State Duma of Russia, announced that there is a decision at the level of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia. “We will be guided by this and we will do everything on our part to ensure that these agreements are implemented. And those who make statements towards European structures may simply lose their country,” he said.
