Armenian Rescuers in Turkey to Return Home Today, Says Pashinyan

Armenian rescuers working in the earthquake-affected area in Turkey will return home today. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.

"Our rescuers have returned from Syria, and the rescuers who went to Turkey will return today. By land," emphasized Pashinyan.

It is noteworthy that Armenia sent 27 rescuers to the earthquake zone in Turkey on February 8, followed by humanitarian assistance on February 11 and 15.

Recall that on February 6 at 05:17, an earthquake occurred in Turkey's Kahramanmaraş province, leading to devastation in several cities. At 14:24 and 14:36 Yerevan time, two more powerful earthquakes were registered. The magnitude of the underground tremors in the epicentral zone reached 10-11 on the Richter scale. The death toll from the earthquakes has reached 35,418.
