David Babayan Makes a Mysterious Post

Advisor to the President of Artsakh, David Babayan writes: “Being a hero and playing the role of a hero are very different things. A true patriot, and simply a decent and normal person, will never call themselves a hero; they will feel ashamed to behave in such a way at best. It’s a different matter for ‘actor-heroes.’ Here, everything is exactly the opposite.

Societies that do not recognize real heroes but applaud such ‘actors’ will undergo great disappointment, often in the form of tragedy.”

Babayan has published a photo alongside his post, but he did not clarify what or who he was referring to.
