VIDEO: "I forbid allocating funds from the community budget for replacing building doors," says the mayor

During a process management meeting at the Yerevan City Hall, the head of the Communal Economy Department, Arsen Karoian, stated that there are 60 entrances in buildings where new elevators have been installed, yet doors have not been placed. Karoian requested to extend the directive by one month to ensure all doors are replaced.

Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan asked whether the funding would come from the city budget and emphasized, "No, I forbid allocating funds for replacing doors from the community budget. In other words, we can replace the elevator, but not the door. Just the other day, a citizen approached me saying their elevator had been replaced, but the windows had not been changed. That’s not acceptable. Work with the homeowners' associations," said the mayor.
