Video: Alexanyan on Armenian Victims of Earthquake in Turkey and Syria

The head of the strategic planning department of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Hovhannes Alexanyan, spoke with reporters about the casualties and injuries among Armenians due to the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria.

“In Malatya, Turkey, we have four casualties: Samit Tabash, Aida Tabash, Alex Tabash, and Mariam Karatash. In Iskenderun, there is one deceased family member, consisting of Dshkhun Mesropyan, Armik Mesropyan, Mesrop Mesropyan, and Paytsar Silakhli. In Antakya, Antoine Horos lost his life, in Tigranakert, the singer Zilan Tigris has passed away and has already been buried, and in Adıyaman, Johanna-Carolina Kapa, who was a tour guide, also died,” said Alexanyan.
