Photo: Huge Tectonic Fracture Formed in Turkey – Satellite Images
“Roscosmos” has published a satellite image of the tectonic fracture that formed as a result of the powerful earthquake in Turkey on its Telegram account, TASS reports.
“Roscosmos” continues the space monitoring of the earthquake effects in southeastern Turkey,” the caption of the image received from the “Canopus-V” satellite states. For comparison, an image from the Russian “Resurs-P” satellite taken in July 2021 has also been attached to the publication.
On February 11, the “Habertürk” television channel reported the formation of a massive tectonic fracture, measuring 200 meters in length and 30 meters in depth, in the Hatay province of southeastern Turkey.
