Death Toll from Earthquake Rises in Syria and Turkey

The death toll from the earthquake in Syria has surpassed 3,000, according to the Syrian Ministry of Health. Currently, the number of injured is approximately 5,000.

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has reported that the death toll in Turkey has reached 24,617, with the number of injured exceeding 80,278.

It is worth noting that on February 6 at 05:17, an earthquake struck Turkey, leading to devastation in several cities. Additionally, two strong aftershocks were recorded at 14:24 and 14:36 Armenian time. The intensity of the subterranean tremors in the epicentral region ranged from 10 to 11 on the Richter scale. Following these earthquakes, damages were also reported in several regions of Syria.
