Call to Avoid Spreading Misinformation About The Hague International Court's Decision

The Office of the Representative of Armenia on International Legal Issues has refuted the information circulating on social media, claiming that the Hague International Court has rejected Azerbaijan's lawsuit against Armenia. They urge the public to avoid spreading misinformation and to follow the developments on their official page.

It is worth mentioning that the International Court of Justice has been reviewing Azerbaijan's lawsuit against Armenia. Baku demands that Armenia be obligated to cease the "mining of Azerbaijani territories." Meanwhile, Armenia seeks urgent measures from the international court, requiring Azerbaijan to reopen the Lachin corridor, which has been closed for two months, to ensure the free two-way movement of people and transport, and to restore energy supplies immediately. The Armenian side emphasizes that vehicles can only pass with the escort of the Red Cross, and the lifeline for the residents of Artsakh remains blocked.

Given the urgency of the issue, the Armenian side has requested a prompt response to its application. The Hague Court, which also heard Armenia's case against Azerbaijan, is expected to make a decision in the coming months, ideally within a matter of weeks.
