Artsakh Athlete Becomes Four-Time Champion of Armenian Boxing Championship

Artsakh boxer Erik Arstamyan has won the championship title in the Armenian Youth Boxing Championship in the under 54 kg weight category. This was reported by Narek Abrahamyan, the president of the Artsakh Boxing Federation and Erik Arstamyan's personal coach.

“This is Erik's fourth victory in Armenian championships. He has had three matches in the ring, and remarkably, he won two of them before the end of the fight,” Mr. Abrahamyan detailed, highlighting the significance of the participation of two athletes from Artsakh at the Armenian championships, especially during this difficult time when Artsakh is under blockade. They are European champions and medalists who represent not only the Republic of Artsakh at the Armenian boxing championship but also their respective weight categories in the national team of Armenia at world and European championships.

It should be noted that Erik Arstamyan is the Youth Boxing Champion of Europe in 2022.
